Pricing

One balance. Every location service.

MapHero bills in credits. Maps, search, routing, matrices and optimisation all draw on the same balance, so you size one number instead of forecasting six products.

Starter and Business include monthly credits at a discounted rate. Additional usage can continue at the overage rate, subject to your overage settings.

Pay As You Go is a separate plan: the first slice of usage each month is free, then the standard per-credit rate. That allowance belongs to the plan, not to package overage.

When your included credits run out

Starter and Business include a monthly credit allowance. What happens after it is spent is your choice, not ours — and you can change it at any time.

Freeze usage

Requests stop being served until the next monthly cycle begins, or until you move to a larger plan. You are never charged more than the plan price.

Maximum charge

  • Plan price nothing is added

Continue with usage-based overage

Usage keeps working, and each additional credit is charged at the Pay As You Go rate of — from the first extra credit. This is not a move onto the Pay As You Go plan: that plan’s monthly free allowance does not apply to overage.

Overage cap

  • $50 a dollar limit you set
  • or
  • Unlimited no ceiling on overage

Most that month: the plan price plus the cap you set, for the included credits plus what the cap buys. No free allowance is added to package overage.

How credits work

  1. You call an API

A map load, a route, a search — anything on the platform.

  2. It costs credits

Each service has a fixed credit cost, listed below.

  3. Credits come from your balance

Your plan’s included credits, or your Pay As You Go usage.

  4. Overage, if you allow it

Continue past your included credits at the Pay As You Go rate, charged from the first extra credit.

  5. Your cap controls overage

Set a dollar limit, or leave overage unlimited. Usage pauses when the configured cap is reached.

What a credit buys

Every metered service and what it costs. Where a cost depends on the request, the formula is shown instead of a single number.
